Proceeds from this premier event support the historical preservation and education work of Densho: The Japanese American Legacy Project.

Event Overview

This is the 12th annual incarnation of one of the Pacific Northwest's finest benefit golf tournaments. Golfers are pampered at the region's premier golf destination, The Golf Club at Newcastle, while competing for great prizes. Gorgeous views of Mt. Rainier, Lake Washington, and the Seattle skyline intermingle with hot appetizers, cool desserts, refreshing beverages, and fantastic golf.

After a fun day on the course, golfers join dinner guests for a sushi reception prepared by one of the region's best chefs, Tatsu Nishino. While feasting on sushi, participants have exclusive access to fabulous silent auction items -- travel packages, sporting events, sporting equipment, jewelry, weekend getaways, wine, and artwork. Next, participants retire to the St. Andrews Ballroom for a sumptuous buffet and an entertaining live auction with fun, one-of-a-kind items.

Program

11:30 a.m. Shotgun start of the golf tournament

5:00 p.m. Sushi reception and cocktails, silent auction begins

6:30 p.m. Dinner and live auction

Tournament Format

Each golfer plays his/her own ball
Team Play-best two balls of a foursome low net score
Individual Play-low net score
USGA GHIN Handicap Index used-maximum handicap is 27

Cost

Last year's event, attended by philanthropists, top corporate executives, business owners, civic leaders, and members of the community, raised $300,000. Be a part of the this year's festivities for a great cause!

Volunteer Your Time
