Densho Dinner @ Home Restaurant Recommendations

We compiled this list of Japanese restaurants so that our out-of-town attendees could join us for dinner. This list is based on a combination of personal recommendations from Densho friends and family, as well as online reviews. Whenever possible we tried to highlight locally-owned, community-run small businesses.

Sake Recommendations

At our Densho Sake School on October 15, Sake School of America instructor Eda Vuong led us through an information-packed at-home tasting. Their sake recommendations that can be found at Uwajimaya (Seattle, Bellevue, and Renton) are:

  • Hakkaisan Honjozo
  • Kikusui Junmai Ginjo
  • Kubota Junmai Daiginjo

If you live outside the Seattle area, we recommend checking your local Japanese or Asian grocery store.

Densho Dinner @ Home Cocktails

Sake not your thing? That’s alright, Seattle’s favorite bartender of 2019, Neil Yamamoto, has concocted three specialty cocktail recipes for you to try in your kitchen!
